Book Deal just signed by Todd Davis

Chronicle Books just inked a deal with Todd Davis to be the author of a new book called "Handy Dad".
Due out before Fathers Day in 2010, the books focus will be 25 different fun projects parents can build with their children over a weekend.  Some projects include zip lines, water propelled rockets, go carts and of course half pipes!  "All the projects will be very easy to build, and an absolute blast to use when done".
The book will have template cut outs, technical illustrations for how to, full color hilarious photographs of the projects in use, detailed instructions and helpful hints.
"Basically a good old fashion avenue of constructive good times straight to your kids heart, with a memorable outcome of "Epic" moments for the entire family!"
 

HGTV Summer Showdown!

This week I have the honor of filming the long anticipated, design battle rematch between "Kim Myles" (HGTV Design Star, season two winner) and myself.  With a slight catch...my team leader will be "Jen Bertrand", "D star 3 winner" and we'll compete against not only Kim but DS3 runner up designer "Matt Locke" as well.  Knowing that I bring constant "Epic" designs to the table, Kim's team will attempt to go big just to keep up...and blow it.
It's not in either one of there design styles to blow people away...they both play it safe and never really risk anything. 
The homeowners want something, "That no one has ever had before".  With that in mind, Kim's team will get all excited, dredge for some dynamic solution...and get crushed.

That's my prediction anyway! 

It's a competition folks, your supposed to talk smack right?! 
Then get your behind handed to you..(like I did before) or gloat in the deep end of the bragging pool....until the next comp!

Todd Davis as Main Host of "Over Your Head" on HGTV

For the next season of "Over Your Head" airing Saturdays at 11AM on HGTV, Todd Davis takes over as main host for the show.  A recent transplant from San Francisco, Hollywood poses no problem for Todd.  "Having to move to LA, was no problem...the ocean is much warmer down there and each remodel seams like a vacation home!"
Watch as home owners get in way over there head with ill attempted home improvements and how the team enlightens the owners how to dig them selves out of the unusual and sometimes downright hilarious predicaments.  There is always a good laugh with the cheese ball skits and over all the show is a blast to watch!  So Stay tuned, in a few months, not only do more home owners get a fresh new start with their debacles, the shows main host "Todd Davis" takes over and packs in more wild and funny helpful, "how to" scenarios than ever before!
